Under the leadership of Ramón Gorbeña Renobales, Bergé y Compañía experienced significant growth in the Spanish port industry and became a leading provider of maritime services. The company expanded into ship mooring and towing, a move facilitated by its acquisition of Reyser in 1966. Towards the end of this period, discussions with Toyota began regarding the importation of their industrial forklifts into Spain, which laid the foundation for our future Automotive business.
